Over the past few months, I've done a bunch of presentations and Zoom meetings, collaborated with the other designers and builders of the project, etc. etc. I'm learning that it takes a while to get a project of this size up and running, but once it's in motion... The folks at Maker's have been really great, and I'm thankful for the encouragement, support, and creative freedom that they've been continuing to provide me.
Right now, I’m finishing up my 1/3 scale drawings, which I’ll bring down to Kentucky at the end of the month for approval. To convey my visions for all of the awesome glass that I’m going to use, I’m going to use watercolors to embellish my ink on paper drawings. I’ve been youtubing tutorials (since I don’t have much experience with watercolors) and now I’m just having lots of fun playing around with the medium before I commit to coloring the Makers Mark drawings.
